Wind Damage

We had a serious wind storm come through the other day. You know, that one that caused tornado's in NYC. Though our plants are quite used to these high winds the constant directional change of this storm proved too much for some of our corn plants. We were very very close to being able to harvest our Hopi Blue and Bloody Butcher varieties, but both took a hit. We lost about a quarter of our crop. The ridiculously tall Morado variety fared even worse. As a consolation for our loss Mother Nature provided us with the biggest most beautiful double rainbow and a some gorgeous back lit clouds.
