Sunnin

Sunnin, it's what we got; lovin that! All we needed was a little sun and the garden exploded. Non stop peas, green beans and the very first cucumbers have flooded our kitchen. The black beans have beautiful purple flowers, the swiss chard is ready to harvest and the tomatoes are coming along nicely. Besides a great harvest, the sun's warmth has also meant a surge in bugs. Spotted in droves, the Colorado Potato Beetle, Cucumber Beetle and Japanese Beetle are wreaking havoc. All the rain has made spraying clay "Surround" impossible, at best. The good news, bugs are seasonal and our garden seems to have fared the storm well. Enjoy the photos!
